keep holdin' on

finally. last day of classes. let me catch ya'll up on what i've been thinking about the last week or so.

there are two things i am very passionate about. music and dance. i've been singing, playing the violin and piano my whole life practically. i've never been able to go for a very long time without music. dancing, specifically ballroom dance is also a great love of mine. last winter semester i pretty much danced away every weekend with my best friend! i can't live with dancing. thankfully music and dancing totally go together right?

i've decided on a minor. i was pretty positive that i was going to be a ballroom dance minor. i even told a lot people that i was even though i hadn't declared. but i was in university chorale this semester and i LOVED it! dilemma: should i do music or ballroom? i love both. after much thinking and praying i decided to go with music. but no worries, i'm still going to take ballroom classes!

heard of it? well it's this fabulous show that my great friend shaunzi introduced me to. i thought it would be ok, but nope its not. it's basically the best show ever! in fact that show is part of the reason i'm doing a music minor because i love singing so much! so if you haven't ever seen it, i highly suggest watching it. and do it now.

i learned just recently that i don't need to rush through school. i am resigned to graduate a year later than i was planning on. but oh well, it will all work out. i'm just so afraid that i won't be able to fulfill all my dreams and goals. AH! sometimes it's very stressful! however if you rush through life without doing what you really love, there will be no true joy.
