if you didn't already know, i'm slightly obsessed with Harry Potter, and even more obsessed with Rupert Grint. we are pretty much MFEO. (mfeo=made for each other.) i think he is just adorable. now please enjoy this video and wonder and how Rupert can be so creepy and yet still so attractive. (also, the lyrics are wonderful and i love them.)

ok now onto more serious matters. today i was voting- for the People's Choice Awards. i know, i know. who actually does that? well i figure if i can vote, then i'm going to. i can't even talk about it. how do you choose? i stressed more over these votes than i did over my vote for president. . . do i vote for Andrew Garfield as best superhero or Christian Bale??? voting made me want to re-watch all the amazing movies that came out this year. i also realized that  i don't really go see a lot of comedy's. i usually just go see action movies. or maybe that was just this year. who knows. so, go vote! BE HEARD!

all joking aside, let's talk about humor. i'm thankful for people and situations that make me laugh! sometimes a small touch of laughter is really what gets me through the day. it is like a shot of chocolate sauce on top of plain vanilla ice cream. so thanks people who make me laugh.

speaking of ice cream, i have one week left of my No Junk Food Challenge! guys, it's getting soooo hard! it seems like everyone is blogging, posting and tweeting about delicious foods that i can't eat! your over there with your ice cream, chocolate, and cookies, and i'm over here like: "i've got this applesauce. . . " on the bright side, i have not been able to eat my emotions!

feeling like this right now. if i could just live in the castle or with Peter Pan (i'm sure he would be cool with it) and escape the stresses of now, that would be lovely.

can we talk for two seconds about how much i love disneyland?? like LOVE. if it was a man, i would marry it. its been a few years (almost 4 to be exact) since i have been there. i think the time has come for me to return to this land. hopefully in january!!!!! [please, please bless that i will have money to go!!!!!]

i love disneyland so much that i have a board for it on pinterest. its also known as the happiest board on earth.
why do i love disneyland so much? because you can be a kid there. dreams are not just dreams. you don't have to worry about all the worrisome things in the world. you can see your heroes in real life.  you can fly to never never land. or you can fly to the moon! you can go on an adventure with the Pirates. or you can explore the haunted mansion. you can enter the twilight zone. or soar over orange groves.

 is it bad that i just want to peace out of school and spend a couple days at the happiest place on earth?

off to neverland!

last saturday I went to the BYU Preference dance- Peter Pan style. yes folks, i flew to Never Never Land. it's really the coolest place ever and I want to be a kid forever. i went with my roommate, Debi, and good friend, Lindsay, and our dates. we danced. we sang. we laughed. we raided Wendy's. i probably poked a few eyes out with my fairy wings.
{yes, i decided to be Tinkerbell, even though Tiger Lily is so much better. i discovered that it is very difficult to find an indian costume at Savers. next halloween, if i can find a young man to be peter pan, i will be Tiger Lily.}

to say the least, this dance was the funnest dance i have been to since freshman year. it was basically a rave. LOVE. it was an almost perfect night and i am so glad i got to share it with the people i did.

i do realize that i have expressed my love for a certain boy in green (aka peter pan) already on this blog. did i tell you that last time i was in disneyland, peter pan totally waved at me? yup, we're getting married. in three weeks.
i need your advice. there is a peter pan dance here at the Y this weekend and i don't know which girl to be. here are my choices:



wendy- wendy is sensible and caring. but let's be honest, she's a bit of a stick in the mud for a little while. however, the Lost Boys come to love her because she is like a mother to them. she is also courageous and fights for what she loves. her choice of clothing- the nightgown- isn't terribly flattering on most figures, so i'm not sure i could pull it off.






tinkerbell- fiesty, girly, and spunky, tinkerbell is quite a handful. although she loses her way for a but, ultimately her love for peter pan shines through. and, who doesn't love wings and a wand? (a plus for me is that she has blond hair...)
















tiger lily- tiger lily is adventurous, stubborn, and a great friend. she also loves to dance. she is loyal to her family and to peter pan. i'm pretty sure peter pan is secretly in love with her. (personally my favorite, but where would i get a costume?)
