here are just a few things i learned these past 8 months whilst in my sophmore/junior/ freshman year.
- It's possible to work and be in school and do well in hard classes!
- Studying long hours in the library is do-able and somewhat enjoyable. yes, please alert the geek squad that I am soon join their ranks.
- "Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible." (Dahli Lama)
- Paying for your own education, housing and food takes sacrifice, but you appreciate your education so much more and work way harder to get good grades.
- Dating is nice, but definitely not essential to having a happy life.
- Don't hold grudges or get angry about little things. Being kind and happy seems a lot harder than being grumpy, but it takes much less energy.
- Missionary letters can sustain you through the hard times.
- Running is a good way to get rid of sadness, anger, and a headache.
