The Year of 2008 in Review! (Let's hope I can remember everything he he)
January: My family finds out we are going to be in the Nauvoo pageant.
February: I turn 18!!! I am finally a legal adult!
My best friend leaves on his mission to Veracruz Mexico
I go snowmobiling for the second time in my life
I get accepted to BYU and recieve a scholarship
March: I plan and throw the Senior Dinner Dance (single handed) for the class of 2008
Sweater Swing with Nate Hainsworth- 80's theme
Choir tour to California! We went to Los Angelas- the star walk, Mann's Chinese Theater, saw Wicked. We went to Disneyland and California Adventures where I fell in love with Disneyland. We also sang in a cathedral and had long long bus rides. Tour made me want to live in California.
April: HOSA state competition. The reading team I was on got 9th place. I placed 4th in a test! Our HOSA Bowl team won first in state!
I find out I get to go to HOSA Nationals in the HOSA Bowl team. All expense paid trip to Dallas, Texas!
I get asked to Prom by Brandon Hillyard.

Senior Day at Seven Peaks (which I helped plan) turns out to be a blast!
I graduate from seminary
AP tests- AP Chemistry, AP physics, AP Calculus
I conduct PGHS graduation at the Marriot Center
Senior all- nighter
June: work at Taco Amigo about 20 hours a week
Trip to Manti to see the pageant with Hilary Norton and her family! They are so awesome! Love them to death!
HOSA Nationals in Dallas, Texas. First time on a plane. Six Flags- I am converted to rollercoasters. Water park. I recieve I $500 scholarship from HOSA. Getting used to humidity. Exploring Dallas. The JFK Museum. Loving Texas!
July: Pool fun with Hilary Norton.
Stake trek in Cache Valley. My ma and pa are the Nortons. It was a wonderful and testimony building experience!
NAUVOO PAGEANT! We leave the last week of July. It is a hot, humid place. We meet people from California to Michigan to Guatamala. We fall in love with Joseph Smith. I make new friends- the Ostergars. We rehearse everyday from sun up to sun down. Missionary work. The spirit of the pageant. Good and bad fruit. My testimony is greatly strengthened. I never want to leave. Adventures in condos while we are there. We get a flat tire on the way home.
August: NAUVOO PAGEANT! We are so so so sad to leave that beautiful city! I am so grateful for the experience I had there!
I finally quit my job at Taco Amigo.
I pack up my room and move to Provo.

New Student (Freshman) Orientation at BYU. Meeting new people, getting to know roommates, getting a feeling for what school is going to be like. Awesome Y Group Leaders.
September: BYU starts. My first semester of college. I am taking: Chem 105, Physics 105 and 107, Book of Mormon, Sociology 112, Intro to Health Professions, Nutrition 100.
Football games. FHE group rocks! The Secret Viny Spot. Dances on the weekends. Dates with Nate Hainsworth. We become fast friends with the boys of 2012. Dollar movies. My dad recieves the woodbadge award in Boy Scouts of America.
My first General Relief Society Meeting.
October: I have four friends leave on missions to North Carolina, Kenya, Ukraine and Missouri. Good luck guys!
My mom turns 51! Dinner at Grandmas.
More BYU Football games. We beat UCLA with a shut out. Homecoming game we get amazing third row seats! I meet Cosmo!!!
General Conference. Rainy. We are all sick. Sunday morning session at Heather's house.
Powdered sugar wars. I hang with old high school buddies Josh and Tyler. Stake Halloween party. I am a hockey player (often confused for a football player ha ha). FHE we carve pumpkins. Kid Date- I ask Allen Ostergar- we draw pictures, eat little kid food, and watch Madagascar. Date with Daniel Ostler- we go bowling (which I suck at but we still have a blast) and Costa Vita. IHOP late late halloween night.
November: We have Mary Kay parties. Fierce makeovers. Adventures at the Gateway. We go to the John McLaughlin concert at the Avalon! My first concert! I find a missionary build a bear! We discover Benton Paul- new upcoming musician. Kevin Manning gets his mission call to Frankfurt Germany. FHE- we draw turkeys and talk about what we are thankful for. First BYU basketball game of the season.

Thanksgiving break! My double date with my twin, Karlee Gunnell. I take Christian Bateman. Annual Pie Making party. I make my first cherry pie. Thanksgiving at Grandma and Grandpa Thomas. Sleepover with roommates Heather and Natalie. Decorating Christmas tree. Relaxation!
December: Natalie goes to the Military Ball with McKay Scoffield. My cousin, Linda gets married. Letters from Brian!!! Amy's half birthday. FINALS!! AH! We acquire a new roommate- Belle. Freeze Fest with Naomi Olson. Snow. Girls night and gift exchange at the end of finals- apples to apples, hilarium, ABBA, crazy dress ups, Mamma Mia, music videos.
Christmas Break- not terrific. My brothers wedding is called off, by the girl. We get a Wii. I get a new bedspread from Ikea. I babysit two days and earn $125. I'm ready to go back to school. I get bad grades :(
New Years- family time. We play games, eat yummy food, play the Wii and watch North by Northwest.
oh how i love you. you really are so amazing and so inspiring to me! i look at the incredible things that you have accomplished and think that it is IMPOSSIBLE! holy crap girl! but, i also hope that i can at least accomplish a little bit of what you have and maybe leave my own incredible mark. you are truly AWEsome!
